Main screen - Presentations tab
The first step to using Repeat Signage, is to create a Repeat Signage
Presentation. Use this tab to create, edit and play presentations.
Play from RepeatServer.com (Standard and above editions)
RepeatServer.com is our free service to facilitate the remote updating of
presentations and play lists (and content such as pictures, text, etc) so
that you can control what is displayed on remote computers anywhere in the
world via the Internet.
See
RepeatServer.com for more information.
You must set up a free account before you can access this button to play
presentation files hosted at
RepeatServer.com.
Upload to RepeatServer.com
This option allows you to update presentations and other files to
RepeatServer.com.
Playing presentations from a website (Standard and above editions)
This allows you to put the URL of a presentation you have hosted on a
website. For example:
https://www.repeatserver.com/Users/RepeatSamples/Data/Colleges01-16to9-1280x720.rsp
We have some of our sample presentations hosted on a free
Repeatserver.com account. Have a look at the following link for
presentations that are hosted on RepeatServer.com:
https://www.repeatserver.com/Users/RepeatSamples/
and our
Sample presentations on
websites which is a list of online presentations which you can use to
test this button.
Please note that on some websites, the website will need a
MIME type configuring
otherwise you may get a 'Cannot download your chosen file' message.
With the Standard and above editions, you can play a presentation
which has been uploaded to a website. The reason you may want to do this is
so that you can get a Repeat Signage player computer at a remote location to play a
hosted presentation and then you can upload a new version to the website
when you have made changes, and the remote player will automatically
download and play this new version.

Trial version of Repeat Signage
You may evaluation Repeat Signage for as long as you like. The trial
version displays a ghosted 'Trial version' image when playing presentations.
This message appears after playing presentations for 10 minutes.
You may use the trial version to design and edit presentations, and just
purchase a licence for each machine you intend to play Repeat Signage
presentations on. You may also use the free trial version in class
rooms for the purpose of teaching digital signage concepts to students.
For presentations, in the trial version, you are limited to playing them for only 10
minutes.
The new PowerPoint scheduler control will only play and schedule full screen
PowerPoint presentations for the first 10 minutes.
