PDF/Document control and Picture control
If you have a selected a single PDF file, etc, then you will only be able to
specify the page number on this tab. If you later change this to a
play list, then you can select multiple pages instead and this because the
default for all play list items. With picture files, with the
exception of Tif files, then there aren't any pages, so this tab doesn't
affect the display of your pictures.
Banner control
You can use this tab to specify how you want to treat multi-page
documents such as PDF files and Tiff files. You can use the 'All
pages' for example, and every page within the document is automatically
added to your playlist.
Options in multi-page mode
Many PDF and Microsoft Word documents have multiple
pages and you can choose which page to view.
You can use the page range to select with a specific page to display, a
range of pages, or all pages. You can use the Use the 'Preview pages' button to display
your document.
Your options are:
All pages
- Obviously this will display all the pages of your document.
Pages
You can type in a single page number such as 2. You can also put in a
range in the format:
2-5
and you use hyphens and commas to help specify exactly the pages you
want, such as:
2-5, 10, 12-13
All pages except
- You can add a list of pages you don't want displayed. For example, you may
not want the first page displayed, you can type in 1. You can also
exclude a range of pages using - and , symbols:
1, 2, 3
1-2, 10-10
Reverse page order
Normally, if you select all pages, it will display page 1, then page 2, then
page 3, etc. Ticking this box will show in reverse order, such as Page
3, then Page 2, then Page 1.
Important note
If you specify a single page number, for example 5, and your PDF file only
have 4 pages, then Page 1 will be displayed instead.
