Touchscreen control has been discontinued.
Touch screen preview options
Mouse or no mouse cursor - When a touch screen presentation is played, then
the
System Options Touch Screen tab
(from the main Repeat Signage screen, click on File then System Settings to
access this) determine whether the mouse cursor is shown. If you
player computer has a touch screen attached, then users don't need to see a
mouse cursor as they can control the screen by simply touching it. If
the player computer has a mouse available to your users, rather than a touch
screen monitor, then you will want to display the mouse cursor instead
of hiding it. When designing a touch screen presentation, you
might not actually be on a touch screen computer. This is why it
defaults to having the mouse cursor visible when previewing your touch
screen presentation.
Position of close button - When a touch screen presentation is
played, then there isn't a close button for the users to press. This
is because in most public places, you will not want your users to be able to
close your Repeat Signage touch screen presentation and gain access to the
computer. So in the player, you actual have to type in a password on
a physical keyboard to close the presentation. This password is set on
the
System Options Touch Screen tab
(from the main Repeat Signage screen, click on File then System Settings to
access this). For this preview, you need to display a close button.
My default, this will appear in the top right corner. However, if your
design has a clickable button in that corner, then you will not be able to
see or click it. This is why you have the option of choosing to
display the close preview button in another corner instead.
IMPORTANT NOTE - If you don't have a touch screen and select not to show the
mouse cursor, then you will not see where you mouse cursor is to point at
the touch screen surface or the close preview button. If you have
selected the close button to the TOP RIGHT, for example, then move your
mouse up a large distance, and then right a large distance and then you will
be able to click out of the preview.
